Our Manufacturing Process

At Ultrapack India, we manufacture high-quality woven bags using an advanced, multi-stage process that ensures durability, strength, and sustainability. Here’s a step-by-step guide to how our PP woven bags are produced:

1 Raw Material Selection & Extrusion

  • We start with premium-grade polypropylene (PP) granules, the keyingredient in woven bags
  • The granules are heated and melted in an extrusion machine.
  • The molten polypropylene is then passed through a die, forming a thin film.

2 Tape Production (Stretching & Winding)

  • The extruded PP film is cut into fine, uniform tapes (also called yarns or threads)
  • These tapes are stretched and oriented to enhance their tensile strength.
  • Once stretched, the tapes are wound onto bobbins for further processing.

3 Weaving the Fabric

  • The PP tapes are fed into circular or flat weaving looms, creating woven fabric rolls.
  • This weaving process gives woven bags their distinct crosshatch pattern, providing superior strength and flexibility
  • The fabric can be left uncoated or coated with an extra PP layer for water resistance.

4 coating & Lamination (Optional Step)

  • If required, the woven fabric is passed through a lamination machine, where an additional PP or PE film is applied
  • This lamination provides: Water & moisture resistance
  • Improved printability for branding
  • Extra strength for heavy-duty applications

5 Printing & Customization

  • The woven fabric is sent for flexographic or rotogravure printing, where designs, logos, and product details are printed.
  • Printing can be done in single or multiple colors, depending on customer requirements.
  • Custom features like UV protection, anti-slip coatings, and anti-static properties can also be added.

6 Cutting & Stitching

  • The woven fabric is cut into precise sizes to match the required bag dimensions.
  • The cut fabric is then stitchedusing high-speed industrial sewing machines.
  • Depending on the application, different bag types are produced:
    Bottom-stitched bags (for grains, cement, and fertilizers)
    Valve bags (for powdered materials like cement and chemicals)
    Liner bags (for moisture-sensitive products like flour and sugar)

7 Handle, Gusset & Other Enhancements (If Required)

  • Depending on the application, additional features are added:
  • Gussets –Expands the bag for higher volume storage
  • Handles –For easy carrying.
  • Inner liners –Provides extra moisture protection
  • Perforation –Allows air circulation for perishable products.

8Quality Inspection & Strength Testing

9 Packing & Dispatch

  • The finished bags are compressed into bales for efficient storage and transport.
  • They are labeled, packed, and dispatched to industries like:
    Agriculture & Fertilizers
    Food & Beverages
    Pharmaceuticals & Chemicals
    Construction & Cement
    Retail & E-commerce

10 After sales service & Support

  • Dedicated Support Team –Providing quick assistance for any queries or issues.
